You'll have to "get rid of all your memories?
Getting organized not about throwing away your memories. But it's hard to relax when keepsakes compete for your attention from every direction. If you're saving something because it holds a special memory for you, double check whether there's another way to reminisce. Does some other object prompt similar emotions? Consider this: what it giving away an item would enhance its significance? Share your cherished possessions now with younger generations and see them come alive again.
If you have children that means more memories to keep. Try this:
1.File children artwork on binders with dates e info about it.
2.Pictures you can scrapbook them, save in a CD, album and picture box is a great source. If you like to keep track on your kids activities and memories, you can use the cards that comes inside of the picture box to date and write info about the pictures. You can even save brochures, tickets, programs, etc.
3. File box is a great source for school keepsakes. If you have more the one child, use one file box for each. Remember to write your child's name on each box.
Too many "memory joggers" create mental clutter.
